Empowering the Next Generation
YAC — the Youth Activity Center — exists to give high school students in Twentynine Palms a place to belong. We provide after-school programs, creative outlets, and mentorship opportunities that keep teens engaged, inspired, and off the streets. Every program we run is designed with one goal in mind: helping 9th through 12th graders discover their potential.
High School Students, Grades 9–12
YAC is exclusively for high school students — 9th through 12th grade. Whether you're a freshman finding your footing or a senior planning your next chapter, there's a program, a coach, or a mentor here for you. All activities are because we believe every teen in Twentynine Palms deserves access.

Born from Community Need
Twentynine Palms is a tight-knit desert community with a strong military presence and a generation of young people who deserve more than empty afternoons. YAC was founded to fill that gap — to create a hub where high schoolers can find mentors, make friends, and build skills that last a lifetime. From sports courts to art studios, every corner of YAC was designed with teens in mind.
